Our Professional Real Estate Agents and
Staff
At Charleston Family Realty our trained
realtors aren’t simply a collection of
agents - We’re a family that depends on each
other to give every family that
special experience. We truly love living in
South Carolina. While some of us were
born and raised here others moved here because
of the love they have for close nit
communities. Whether our agents were born here
or from ‘off’ we’re all very proud
of our Carolina heritage. You will find our
agents offer an unparalleled wealth of
knowledge about the area, about real estate, and
about people here in Charleston.
Let’s meet some of the people on our Charleston
Family Realty Team:
I was born in Florida but I sometimes joke that
although I wasn’t born in
Charleston I moved here as soon as I could. I
attended high school in south
Florida, and earned a degree in Psychology from
the University of South Carolina
in 2002. I have always had a great interest in
and appreciation for real estate
for families, which probably comes from my
desire to see my own 4 children raised
in a great community. While living in a
community filled with friends and their
children I have developed a passion for
teaching.
These teaching skills have become useful when
helping, assisting, or guiding
buyers and sellers in the complicated real
estate process.
In short – I truly love my job. It’s more than a
job to me - It’s a passion.

I was born in Downtown Charleston, grew up in a
modest but lovely 17th century
home off Queen Street, and currently attend the
College of Charleston as I am
working towards a business degree.
While I have lived in downtown Charleston all of
my life there is so much to be
said for the social aspect of the downtown
residents. From debutant balls to
community gatherings at churches - downtown life
offers its community a wealth of
social events that will impact you for the rest
of your life.

The Mims family has been part of the Charleston
landscape for generations. They
helped start Charleston Family Realty for one
reason – to share their love and
appreciation of the Low Country with others.
I grew up here so the Low Country is second
nature to me. Still, the magic of
watching the shrimp boats return at the end of
the day, the exploring of a
Historic military fort overlooking the harbor,
or the feeling of your toes sinking
in pluff mud, are all unique Charleston
experiences. To help a family relocate to
a place I know they will love is to help spread
a little bit of magic that I
myself have been honored to experience.
My Charleston heritage is important to me.
Whether it be our food, our customs,
or our history we are a unique culture that
welcomes home both visitors and new
residents alike. I was born in Charleston, South
Carolina in the 50‘s. My father
built homes and worked construction all
throughout the lowcountry. While my
grandparents were from Lake City, a little town
north of Charleston, I spend very
little time away. My family has had roots here
in Charleston since the late 1690s
since sailing from Mimms, England. My teen years
were spent on an old plantation
established in 1692 by the Middleton’s, The Oaks
Plantation of St. James Parish
now Goose Creek. I grew up with Carolina history
in my blood. Having this type of
experience not only allowed me to enjoy history
but to truly cherish the past
while incorporating the present and anticipating
the future. All of these traits
are what set me apart from other agents when it
comes to understanding the area
you live. I am not someone that has just learned
about the are but someone that
has lived amongst the many facets that make
Charleston Special!
